The Atomic Cafe Gigs
(June 2, 1990/Feb 8, 1992)

There were actually 2 Atomic Cafe gigs. The Atomic Cafe was a party put on by the San Francisco Cacophony Society. Here is an extensive description of the first Atomic Cafe which was held in an abandoned bomb shelter somewhere in SF (To this day I don't know where it was). All of the pictures here are from the first gig.

The second Atomic Cafe was held in an abandoned Toothpaste factory near the Berkeley Marnia. Sadly it seems that there are no photos from this party. Here is a short description of the party (search for Atomic), from the "History of the Burning Man". Here are a few things that I remember about it. I brought my roller blades so that I could play my guitar and skate at the same time. My friend Geoff Faraghan came with his blades as well. We skated the whole length of the toothpaste factory using headlights. You know, it seemed like it was a couple city blocks long.
